Plastic Bags vs. Paper Bags
Paper bags were used many years ago. As time passsed and technology increased we began using more plastic bags. The paper bag did not hold up to a lot of wear and tear like the plastic bag does. Imagine carrying your groceries home in a rain storm with paper bags. Everything you purchased would be on the ground. The paper will immediately tear and break from the moisture. Therefore a plastic bag is not only better for the environment because of recyling purposes, but it's a more durable product, that can also be reused more efficiently than the paper bag. There are also environmentally friendly plastic bags. They can be made with a bio-degradable additive which enables the plastic components to degrade faster than a regular bag.
Stay with the plastic bag, don't think that paper is the answer. Also remember paper burns at a much faster rate than plastic, which could cause more fires and mishaps within our communities.
I prefer Plastic..
