One year after Toronto adopted a five cent minimum sales price for plastic bags, retailers are saying distribution of plastic bags has dropped dramatically, with some grocers reporting between a 70% and 80% drop. Support AB 1998, which would ban plastic bags in California!

learning how to recycle things
Its a good thing that people are learning how to recycle things. We learn to care more about our environment and the future. In the past few years, the world has experienced devastating natural disasters on a level that hasn’t been seen for decades. There is much speculation that these especially strong phenomena are due to global climate change, brought on by Global Warming. SO if there's anything we can do to help, why not? We appreciate all those little things we do, to help. Rapid Global Warming can affect an ecosystems chances to adapt naturally. We should start working on this issue if we would like to survive as a civilization.
