Oct 30 - Schwarzenegger Appoints New DOC Chief Deputy Director
Governor Schwarzenegger has appointed Derek Chernow to be the new Chief Deputy of the Department of Conservation. Chernow was previously the Chief of Staff for termed-out Assembly Member Nicole Parra (D-Hanford). Chernow will replace current Chief Deputy Director Jason Marshall.
The Department of Conservation runs California's Container Deposit Law.
