Jul 16 - Capitola Gearing Up to Enforce Polystyrene Ban
The City of Capitola is educating local businesses about the upcoming enforcement of its foamed polystyrene food packaging ban. The ban, reinforced in June despite lobbying from opposition groups, gives food vendors three months to comply.
The ordinance requires food vendors use only compostable or recyclable food packaging.
