Following California's lead, four more states take on energy efficiency requirements for television. Due to the recent approval by the California Energy Commission (CEC) of regulations that will set energy-efficiency limits on California for televisions sold on store shelves, four other states have introduced legislation aiming for the same goals. They include Massachusetts, New York, Wisconsin and Washington: Massachusetts - House Bill 3124 and Senate Bill 1524 concerning electronics
