Jul 1 - Department of Conservation Moves to Cut Bottle Bill Funding

The Department of Conservation says starting today they will proportionally cut core recycling funding by up to 85%.  The Beverage Container Recycling Fund is running a deficit through the 2009-10 fiscal year. CAW believes that the fund can be balanced without draconian cuts to core recycling.
