Brittany Friedman, Policy Advocate (she/her)
Brittany graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from CSU Northridge, followed by an M.S. in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Prescott College. She then served in the AmeriCorps working with low-income dreamers and their families before entering the environmental and climate field. In previous roles, she has developed and implemented projects throughout California to conserve natural resources, promote outdoors education, and advocate for stronger environmental regulations.
As a Policy Advocate with CAW, Brittany is passionate about reducing food waste and methane emissions while increasing access to organics recycling.
Outside of work, Brittany can be found browsing record shops, paddle boarding, watching classic films, and cuddling with her cats.
