Erica Parker, Policy Associate (she/her)
Erica graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a B.S. in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Following graduation, she worked as an environmental chemist and quality assurance specialist which fueled her desire to pursue a career in environmental stewardship and policy. Erica is pursuing her graduate degree in Environmental Policy and Management at University of California, Davis and plans to specialize in Sustainable Food Systems and Agriculture and the Policy Process.
As a Policy Associate, Erica works on researching policy and writing sponsor letters for organics legislation. This includes issue areas like food waste and landfill emissions.
After work, you can find Erica slacklining in Sacramento parks, reading science fiction at a local café, baking vegan treats, or riding her bike in the Sacramento sun.
