One more city steps up to take on plastic bags.

Tonight the Carmel City Council will introduce and discuss a plastic bag ban.

The agenda, report, and draft ordinance can be viewed on the City Council website. If adopted at a second reading, plastic bags would banned in all retail stores after six months.
