Aug 4 - SF Proposes Ban on Plastic Bags at all Retailers, Paper Fee

San Francisco supervisors will soon consider a proposal to extend the scope of the city's landmark 2007 plastic bag ban to include all retailers, from just supermarkets and pharmacies, and to include a fee on paper bags. Cities are not waiting for the state to act to eliminate the sources of plastic litter pollution.
