Researchers estimate that giant areas of plastic litter accumulation exist in all the world's oceanic gyres, but only the North Pacific Garbage garbage patch has been studied. Now researchers say they have located the North Atlantic Garbage Patch, writes Stiv J Wilson in the Huffington Post.
