Jan 29 - EPA Eliminates "Confidential Business Information" Exemption For Public Reporting Of Chemical Hazard

In order to strengthen and reform chemical management, U.S. EPA announced a new policy to increase the public’s access to information on chemicals. This policy requires chemical companies to disclose the identity of the chemical product.

Previously, companies were allowed to claim "business confidential information" or "CBI.
