Dec 17 - Plastic Beverage Containers Continue to be Reduced

Beverage manufacturers are continuing to reduced use of plastic resin in their beverage containers. Nestle Waters recently announced that it has reduced its use of plastic resin by 80 million tons annually since it began reducing its containers. And starting in 2010 their PET containers will be reduced again reaching a 60% reduction level.
