Mar 30 - Oregon Bottle Bill Expansion Moves Forward
An Oregon bill that would add bottled juice, tea, coffee and sports drinks by 2013 to that state's Bottle Bill passed a legislative committee last week and now heads to a vote in the Oregon House.
The bill also sets an 80% recycling level goal by 2015 and authorizes an increase in the container deposit amount to 10 cents from 5 cents if the goal is not met.
