Jun 16 - Landmark Expansion of Bottle Bill Passes Assembly Committee

CAW-sponsored SB 1625 passed out of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee this afternoon. It will next be heard in Assembly Appropriations.

The bill would expand California's model Container Recycling Law to include all plastic containers--targeting the fastest-growing sector of the waste stream and the source of costly plastic marine debris pollution.
