Apr 15 - Plastic Bag Bill Consolidates and Passes Out of Committee

CAW-sponsored AB 2058, which will require retailers to meet a tough plastic bag diversion benchmark if they wish to continue freely distributing bags, passed out of Assembly Natural Resources yesterday. Author Asm. Member Lloyd Levine will incorporate components of a similar bill that did not make it out of committee.
