Subway, the nation's largest restaurant chain, has announced that is unveiling a three-bin waste system in some of its restaurants, offering consumers the ability to recycle their food packaging. Janet Adamy of the Wall Street Journal writes that if the pilot program is successful it may be expanded. Subway operates 22,000 locations in the US.
