Oct 12 - Governor Signs CAW-Sponsored GHG Legislation

The Governor today took strong action to reduce GHG emissions in California by signing CAW-sponsored AB 1109, which will increase lighting efficiency and reduce toxics. This bill will result in 6 million tons of carbon dioxide not being released into the atmosphere.

AB 1109 was among a package of bills that will result in climate change improvements, but we still await his decision on other important recycling legislation.
