May 2 - Multi-family Recycling Bill Passes Out of Committee

AB 548 (Levine), which would require owners of multi-family dwellings to provide adequate recycling services, passed out of the Assembly Local Government Committee today on a 4-2 vote. The bill now heads to the full Assembly. The bill is supported by environmental groups and local government.
