Mar 17 - Hearing Set for AB 1866: Saying No to Polystyrene

CAW supported AB 1866 (Karnette) has been scheduled to be heard in the Assembly Natural Resources Committee on Monday, March 27 at 1:30 pm. This measure will prohibit the sale, possession or distribution of Expanded Polystyrene food containers (commonly called "Styrofoam") by state facilities beginning January of 2008.CAW is urging supporters to fax letters to members of the Assembly Natural Resources Committee.
