Jul 27 - SF Aquarium Opens Exhibit To Stop Plastic Waste

The Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco has opened a new exhibit to generate awareness about plastic pollution. Titled "Perils of Plastic", the temporary exhibit provides information about the impacts of plastic litter, and how the public can take action against it.

In conjunction with this exhibit, the Aquarium is removing all plastic water bottles from its facility and providing a water refilling station for its patrons. It estimates that 800 plastic bottles of water have been prevented by the station since its first use earlier this month.
