Aug 3 - Bag Bill Presented to Senate Fiscal Committee

California's plastic bag ban bill, AB 1998, was presented to the Senate fiscal committee yesterday. Senate Appropriations has until Aug 13 to vote out the bill. AB 1998 must then be voted on by the entire Senate and Assembly by the end of August.
