Jun 28 - Bag Ban Bill Passes Out of Senate Committee

AB 1998, which would reduce plastic litter pollution by banning plastic bags at grocery stores, pharmacies and convenience stores, passed out of the Senate Environmental Quality Committee with a 5-2 vote. The bill now goes to the Senate Appropriations Committee.
