Feb 3 - Oregon Legislature Hears Plastic Bag Ban Bill

The Oregon Legislature is debating a bill that would ban plastic bags this month, and the Oregonian has reported that the Senate President may be supportive of the policy.

Senator Mark Hassof Beaverton Oregon is the author of SB 1009 which would ban plastic bags statewide beginning Jan 1, 2012.
