Sep 22 - San Jose City Council Moves Forward with Plastic Bag Ban

The San Jose City Council voted 9-1 today to move forward with plans to ban plastic bags. The council directed city staff to draft an ordinance and complete the necessary environmental analyses in anticipation of adoption of the ordinance.
