Oct 21 - SF may Ban Bisphenol-A from Baby Bottles

Supervisor Michela Alioto-Pier has introduced an ordinance that calls for the banning of baby bottles made with the additive Bisphenol-A, reports the San Francisco Chronicle.

The California Legislature has tried repeatedly to ban Bishpenol-A from children's products, most recently with SB 1713 (Migden). Ma's AB 1108, which has banned the use of phthalates in children's products, had originally also targeted Bisphenol-A.
