Aug 7 - Plastic Bottle Deposit Law Passes Out of Fiscal Committee

CAW-sponsored SB 1625 passed out of Assembly Appropriations today and now heads to a full Assembly vote. The first-in-the-nation measure would expand California's model Container Recycling Law to include most plastic bottles.
