The PMDP is a vital market-based incentive program with goal of increasing and supporting the California processing and utilization of CA-generated post-consumer recycled plastic. With the signing of AB 1149 (Gordon & Wieckowski) and the 5 year extension of the Plastic Market Development Program, the timing is right to update and improve implementation of the PMD incentive program.
