Norcal HHW Meeting: Producer Responsibility for Toxic Lighting Management

On Wednesday, March 21, I'll be meeting in Vacaville with the Northern California Chapter of the Household Hazardous Waste Information Exchange. The topic will be producer responsibility for toxic lighting and other electronic wastes. The focus will be on AB 1109 (Huffman), legislation that would establish lighting efficiency standards for all indoor and outdoor lighting, as well as require manufacturers to reduce toxic materials and support a recycling system for their products.
