Mar 17 - Palo Alto Bans Plastic Bags
The Palo Alto City Council voted last night to ban plastic bags at large grocery stores and require that only reusable or recycled content bags be used. They also announced their intention to vote in September on whether to ban plastic bags at all retail outlets and to put a fee on paper bags.
