Mar 2 - American River Cleanup: Volunteers Needed This Saturday

Share The American River Parkway needs your help.

This Saturday, volunteer just a few hours of your time for a special cleanup event hosted by the American River Parkway Foundation.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to help maintain the native habitat and vegetation of the Parkway.

This Saturday's cleanup efforts will be focused on the lower portion of the American River Parkway, where illegal camps have impacted the recreational area and water quality of the Parkway with debris.

When: Saturday, March 5 from 9 am to 12 noon

Bring gloves and wear sturdy shoes. Please contact CAW at (916) 443-5422 or if you are attending so we can give the American River Parkway Foundation a head count. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older.
