Jun 14 - Millbrae to Consider Polystyrene Ban

Millbrae is considering a ban on foamed polystyrene takeout food containers, reports Heather Murtagh of the San Mateo Daily Journal. Foamed polystyrene is nonrecyclable and is a principal component of costly urban litter and marine debris. The city will be studying the bans already in place in San Francisco, Oakland and Santa Monica.
